Steps for Successful Season

Register your Team with FIRST

Have your Team (2 to 6 students in grades 2-4) and 2 Coaches ready to go! Register your Team and 2 Coaches with FIRST by going to firstinspires.org and clicking login. Either login with your account or create a new one, then create a FIRST LEGO League Explore team and check out in the FIRST Storefront ($150, includes the BIOGLOW™ Explore Set). Releases have to be electronically signed for the Coaches. Coaches have to do a YPP background check every 3 years. Make sure to have your tax exempt paperwork in your account.

Need help with fees? FIRST lists team grants in your Dashboard and on its team grants page.

Pay Regional Activity Fee ($45 per team)

Regional Activity Fee Invoices have not been sent out yet. You will be informed via email when they have been sent.

Pay the Regional Activity fee. An invoice will be sent via email to the main coach's email address for each team. Pay the fee by credit card, or ACH. Electronic Payments Only.

Register for the Explore Festival
(No Qualifiers for Explore)

You will only be able to register for the Festival after your Regional Activity Fee and FIRST Registration Fees have been received and processed! Regional Activity Fees will be processed on Wednesdays. When we have processed your activity fee, an email will be sent to the Coach's registered email address with instructions for Festival registration.
